Airport:
Liberia Guanacaste Airport (LIR)
This is the closest airport to the resort (~1hr away).

Transportation:
We recommend scheduling transportation to and from the airport. The companies below are highly recommended. They will be waiting outside the airport with your name on a sign, just make sure to add your flight information when booking. We used I Love Travel and they were great!

Packing & Travel Tips
Pack sunscreen
Sunscreen is a fortune at the resort. At the airport, you'll find a duty-free store directly after customs- you can purchase some there if you don't want to travel with it.

Bring small bills
Small bills are hard to come by at the resort and come in handy when tipping the staff.

Pack a speaker

Download the Mobile Passport App​
This will save you hours when returning to the US. This app allows you to upload all your passport information ahead of time and creates a mobile/digital passport for customs to scan.

Once your plane touches down in the US, open the app, create a New Submission and select the Airport and Terminal you're at.
Then, when you get to customs, there will be a Mobile Passport line. Look for signs- it may not be obvious. It's typically the shortest line.
